Joddy Krogstad, MBA, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GPHR, Seattle Research Partners, Inc. Instructor, has successfully prepared human resources professionals to pass the SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, PHR and GPHR certification exams since 2011. Her teaching strategies incorporate practical applications gleaned from her ten-year career as a human resources practitioner in which she has supported building strategic and operationally efficient organizations that create value and success through engagement, innovation, and transformation. Joddy earned her MBA, Human Resources emphasis, from Seattle Pacific University, graduating Beta Gamma Sigma, and her undergraduate business degree in Applied Management from National American University, Ellsworth A.F.B., graduating Summa Cum Laude.

In addition to teaching, Joddy’s passion for supporting continuous learning opportunities led her to serve as one of the National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA) Seattle Professional Chapter’s Founding Directors, establishing this national women’s development organization in the Seattle area. As Education Director, she developed educational programs to provide business women with opportunities to build their professional skills, enhance greater representation of women in leadership roles, and improve workforce diversity. Joddy is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), the Lake Washington Society Human Resources Association (LWHRA), Beta Gamma Sigma (International Honor Society), and NAWMBA. She resides in south Seattle with her husband and two children.
